BAHAWALPUR: Chief Minister Talent Hunt Programme Divisional Secretary has said that male and female youth of age 18 to 35 years are eligible to get themselves registered as contestants for music and painting competition either online facility or by submitting their applications both at their respective district headquarters and the Rasheedia Auditorium Bahawalpur until February 28.
Arts Council Resident Director Rana Ajaz Mahmood said, “The audition for music competition contestants will be held from March 3 to March 9, while the music competition at divisional level will be held on March 11 at the Rasheedia Auditorium. Both music and painting competitions carry various prizes amounting to Rs 150,000 for first prize; Rs 100,000 for the second and Rs 75,000 for the third prize for each competition.
Meanwhile, Bahawalpur Deputy Commissioner Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal Tuesday paid a surprise visit to the Civil Hospital and inspected various facilities and departments of the hospital. He directed the medical superintendent to ensure all diagnostic facilities, supply of medicines and state-of-the-art health cover to patients both at outdoor and indoor facilities of the hospital.
