ISLAMABAD: Information and Broadcasting Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has said that politics and performance cannot be separated and people would cast their votes in the elections on the basis of service.
While speaking with the media in Islamabad on Tuesday, Maryam Aurangzeb said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) performed superbly during the last three years on all fronts, especially in economic development and addressing the challenge of terrorism.
She said the present government improved prestige and honour of the country which led to launching of historic initiative of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The minister said that Punjab, under the leadership of Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif, has developed to a great extent and other provinces should emulate this model.
Referring to Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Hyderabad on Monday, she said the Prime Minister is working for welfare of people of entire Pakistan.
She said that the PM wants the people of Sindh to have similar opportunities; as are available to people of other provinces. She said that is the PM announced a number of projects to improve the lives of people in Sindh and he would continue to do so in Sindh and other provinces as well.
To a question, the minister said that the judgment of the Supreme Court in Panama Papers case would be acceptable to all.
