KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Tuesday discussed with party leaders the political scenario developing after the recently held Senate elections.
In separate meetings with several officials, matters pertaining to party’s re-organisation were also discussed.
According to a press statement issued by the PPP, party office-bearers from Azad Kashmir and South Punjab met the party chairman.
PPP Southern Punjab chapter delegation called on the party chairman in the leadership of former prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.
The delegation of PPP Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter comprised Ch Latif Akbar, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Ch Pervez Ashraf and former AJK president Sardar Yaqoob Khan. Senior PPP leader and former minister of state Tasneem Qureshi also called on Bilawal Bhutto. Pakistan Steel Mills Peoples Workers Union Chairman Shamshad Qureshi was also present on the occasion. Later, PPP leader from Punjab Mian Manzoor Wattoo in his meeting with the chairman discussed political situation in his constituency. PPP Karachi Division President MPA Saeed Ghani also met the chairman at Bilawal House after taking oath as provincial minister at the Governor’s House.
